SCCA-Almaty’s activity description:

SCCA-Almaty was founded in 1998 by Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan.

The main goals of its activities are: the support of contemporary art in Kazakhstan and its integration to the world artistic’ process. But as a unique cultural institution in the Central Asia region, SCCA-Almaty is supporting all kinds of cultural activity: education, research, information dissemination, events.
