News release "Soviet Internet called by V.I.Lenin"

An exhibition of virtual objects of soviet and post-soviet period.
The opening will be held on the 7-th of December at 6.30 p.m.

With the fourth SCCA's anniversary our exhibition combines into one scope two kinds of virtual objects. They are mottoes of "soviet Internet" and tables, and web-site of SCCA (http://www.samal.kz/~scca/). Publication of this site will be during the opening ceremony.

These virtual objects are combined not only by expositional scope but by the thing that as Internet so the tables are a system of virtual informational communications. Understanding of Internet, probably, doesn't call any disagreements. Concerning the tables, so their texts and the form of itself are virtual absolutely, because they are not for exact reader but, may be, for abstract form of soviet man, and may be, as philosopher E.Golovin has written: ". into cosmos nothing", which is also a virtual thing.

There are many other moments of soviet times are represented at the exhibition. They are brain-ring by the steps of soviet crosswords, video-course of soviet language for those, who speak English. This course demonstrates phonetic beauty, lexical wealth and absurd of soviet language. There are also a film "Nostalgia" of the St. Petersburg artists' group "Mitki" and the ode to those who are in virtual object of soviet alcoholic culture.

Curatorial and design group consists of Alexander Stadnychuk, Oksana Kim, Anna Petuhova and Julia Levitskaya.
