Since the gallery opened it held about 70 exhibitions – there are yearly exhibitions of children art and handicapped artists. In addition to artists from Almaty, the gallery works together with artists from other cities I Kazakhstan – Astana, Atyrau, Aktau, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Petropavlovsk and Uralsk. The gallery also housed exhibitions of artists from other countries – Tadjikistan, Uzbekistan, Kirgizia, Russia and Germany. The gallery organizes joint projects in collaboration with the Indian and Egyptian embassies, Ministry of Culture of Kazakhstan, Directorate for Art Exhibitions and Auctions and the Kasteev State Museum of Arts.

The gallery, which is placed at a very advantageous location among the buildings of an architectural ensemble that includes the President’s Residential Palace, the city government, the central city square and the “Tribuna” gallery, is frequented by Almaty’s residents and city’s visitors as well as important guests from other countries. Besides exhibition and consultation activities, the gallery is engaged in selling the works of art, such as paintings, graphics, sculpture and decorative art.

Under the gallery’s auspices works the “Art Tribune” designer group, which is developing and building projects on architecture, polygraphy, graphic and video-advertisement, exclusive gifts and heraldic artwork.
