Miroslav Kulchinskiy and Vadim Chekorskiy, "Dial Up", audio installation, 1998.

The work consists of two spread-out dynamics, hooked up to a single stereo player. The audio work itself is composed of telephone conversations between the two authors of the work via answering machines. With the help of typical answers for answering machines, a locked communication cycle is modeled, which paradoxically reveals the impossibility of going beyond "typical" communication. Necessary equipment: stereo player with dynamics.
